Winter Friends Desk Volunteer

The Friends of Crater Lake National Park (FOCLNP) is assisting the National Park Service with the volunteer (VIP) staffing of the Rim Winter Desk and the Steel Visitor Center from late November through late April.  Apply between October through November each year.

By volunteering at Crater Lake National Park you will:
*   Provide a valuable service to Park visitors
*   Be Assisting the Park staff
*   Receive Visitor Services Training
*   Meet people from around the world
*   Wear an identifying VIP uniform
*   Be provided with winter housing
*   Help build a stronger constituent community for Crater Lake National Park
*   Enjoy Crater Lake in all of its winter wonder

The Friends of Crater National Park is looking for a corps of 10 – 15 motivated people to assist with the staffing of the Winter Information Desks at Steel Center and at Rim Village.  Each volunteer will be encouraged to volunteer for two consecutive weekend days at a time (10 AM – 4 PM).
