Oregon’s Crater Lake is a spectacular place that contains the purest water on Earth. For generations, it has inspired wonder in families, artists, and scientists alike.

The Crater Lake National Park Trust is a charitable nonprofit organization that helps to protect, promote, and enhance Crater Lake National Park, its unique water purity, and its value for human inspiration and knowledge.  

We encourage you to explore, to discover, and to share your stories.

 

Road Status:

All park roads are open, however snowy and icy conditions can occur this time of year resulting in temporary road closures.   

 

Trail Status:

All trails in Crater Lake park north of Hwy. 62 are open.

All trails South of Hwy. 62 inside Crater Lake park boundaries are closed due to fire.
