Our Staff

Jeff Allen (Executive Director) began work as Executive Director of the Crater Lake Trust in October 2006. He formerly spent ten years as Executive Director of the Oregon Environmental Council, where he nearly quadrupled the organization's budget and staff while building a reputation for collaboration and effectiveness. Jeff holds a Master's degree in Public Policy from the Goldman School at the University of California, Berkeley and graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Michigan.

Alice Geankoplis (Development Manager) joined the Trust in  January 2008 after eight years in the development office at Southern Oregon University.  She served most recently as Director of Development for Annual Giving and previously as Director of Development for Major Gifts.  During her tenure, she focused on reenergizing the annual giving and scholarship programs, and worked on the campaign to fund Hannon Library. Many thanks to the Meyer Memorial Trust and the Oregon Community Foundation for funding this new position!

Maria Clementi (Outreach and Volunteer Coordinator) joined the Trust in August 2008 as the new Outreach and Volunteer Coordinator.  Maria previously worked for the Grand Canyon Trust, where she more than doubled volunteer participation in conservation projects throughout the Colorado Plateau.  Maria holds a BS in environmental sciences from University of Oregon and enjoys trail and road running, all types of outdoor exploration, and cooking.
